Now you can easily find your lost property with a matchbox sized bluetooth device 'gecko' developed by bangalore based startup Connovate Technology. Connovate Technology was founded in beginning of this year by four professionals, Bahubali Shete, Kiran Kumar, Rajeev M and S Varadarajan. 'gecko', this small sized device is a low power bluetooth that can be attached to various items such as wallets, bags ,suitcase etc and can be traced when they are missing. Isn’t it interesting?? You can also control music on your phone by "gecko" and attach this to your house door or window or basement door and this alerts you every time it get opened. You can also click a picture with help of gecko all u need to do is just keep you phone or camera in front of you and wave your arm. They got 3731 pre order all across the world and raised $135485 from this process of pre order. The cost of each gecko is $20 and over 6000 devices have been ordered. They received order from 70 countries around the world. The production of gecko has started in their china plant. They are going to denote $1 or$2 behind every gecko to breast cancer research foundation.

A similar type of product is developed by ‘tile’ a silicon valley startup but tile has limitation to its feature compared to gecko. Tile began its company on a self starter crowed funding platform and raise a massive funding of 2.2 million dollars with support from more than 50000 people for their campaign which ran for 34 days.
